Just been on the Saints board - not much chatter. A few said its looks classy, others liked the self filling beer. That's about all.
Just took a close look at The Emirates and ours beats it hands down, it probably is the best in Europe.
Cheers, Nads. I'm sure it won't be a long wait for you. You're definitely moving in the right direction again now. Good luck for the rest of the season. The promotion chase is tight, but I think you'll do it.
I don't think that Southampton were actually allocated any tickets for sale, judging by the crowd. They're the group in the corner on the left-hand side of this picture: please log in to view this image Looked like maybe 1-200 and I think that they were the players' families, though I could be mistaken. Not sure why that whole middle tier on the shelf was empty, either.
Aren't those the premium seats? Can't have the unwashed arses of the rank and file masses farting on those now, can we?
They put all the Premium Seat holders into the West Stand, presumably so they would only have to open half the restaurants. For the second event everyone will be in their actual seat.
Still a small bit of interior work needed to be done judging by the brief glimpse me and the boys saw. We went through so many doors yesterday, some we definitely shouldn't have ( ) and one of them was where we noticed a paint job and some furniture was needed, pretty sure that was in the East, we got quickly ushered out by security, they were really cool about it though, I think they were just a bit surprised that we'd got in there as the door we went through was supposed to be locked I think as it looked like you needed a key card/ fob to gain access but we realised not all the doors were indeed locked, despite looking like they were meant to be as they had red dots (I have similar at my work, red indicates locked, turns green once open).
Hopefully we can turn off the hot water in the referees dressing room for when Mike Dean makes his next visit.
Tell me please, can one still arrive on match day and buy a ticket because we'd like to experience the atmosphere in this magnificent stadium?
No, no, no, we must keep the hot water on ...just reroute the pipe to the tank of sulphuric acid we keep for these little eventualities
Only if you are a season ticket holder. There are 42000 of them. Then there are 9000 corporate seats, 3000 away fans leaving approx 7000 for members. Me and mine have only missed 2 wembley matches this season...but couldn't get a ticket this morning...just sods law to be honest. Coys
