Saying "I don't know enough about Leicester players to pass judgement on who are better than ours" is a great way to avoid answering the question.

You're all just as deluded as you've ever been.

You didn't have a Premier League team last season, and you don't have one now.

It's strange how nobody came calling for your Premier League squad of world beaters over the summer, isn't it?

No?

But yeh, I'm certain that if you had avoided injuries, and if you're manager wasn't so poor last season, you would have stayed up comfortably, and most likely be sitting around 5th in the Premier League at the moment seeing as you have a squad that's about on par with ours <ok>

I don't know enough about your players to make an accurate judgement on who's got the better player in each position, so it would be rather pointless, I suspect if I did I'd have more Leicester players than Sterling, but less than you.

It's also more important to have the best team, rather than the best set of individuals. On paper, Huddlestone and Diame are our most gifted players, but neither are currently in our starting XI, because the hard graft of Livermore and Meyler is more effective in the Championship.

In my view, Hull City were not relegated last season due to a poor squad, the squad was easily good enough to stay up. Our problem was being desperately unlucky with injuries (too many key players were out too long), but far more significantly, the negative approach of the manager cost us too many points.
. <laugh><laugh> Here we go. "We went down because we were unlucky" <laugh><laugh> Get a grip man. You went down because you fully deserved to go after 38 games.
Reading this thread just gets better a laugh a minute <laugh>

Such poor losers.

Have Hull ever lost a game, because the opposition were the better team?

No, it's always the refs fault... Or the lino... That throw-in 20 minutes ago that was given the wrong way... That bird that landed on the pitch... The kit man not using the right detergent <laugh>

Deluded fools, the lot of them.

"We wouldn't have gone down if our manager hadn't made such poor decisions" <laugh> That's a new one, I'll give you that, absolute classic <laugh>

Does that mean nobody ever deserves to go down?

Burnley would have stayed up too, if they had better players... It's just unfortunate that they didn't <doh>

Statements from this thread alone from the Hull fans that just prove you are an arrogant bunch of deluded ****wits:

Only a few Leicester players would get in the Hull team

Diame would make the starting XI of 3/4 Premier League clubs

Hull have a Premier League squad playing in the Championship

Hull were only relegated because of an unfortunate series of injuries, and a manager making poor decisions (this one is my favourite)

Mahrez would only "probably" get into Hulls team, and that's only if he stopped diving <doh>

Hull would take Robertson at LB over both Fuchs AND Schlupp

Kante would only just make it into Hulls team, ahead of David Meyler

It's a tough call deciding who to play upfront between Chuba, Hernandez and Vardy

Ahh brilliant, any others?
Or is that all the deluded nonsense summed up in one post?

Don't forget that they would take Inler, but not the person keeping him out of our starting 11 Danny Drinkwater <ok>

Diame scored against the mighty MK Dons, surely best player in the country and should get called up for England! Oops Hull moment there!

I'm sure they'll get offers from at least 3/4 of Premier League clubs in January.

I mean, even Real Madrid and Barcelona were after him at one point.

We went down because we didn't get enough points, it was entirely our own fault, I never suggested otherwise.

You lot seem overly desperate to paint an inaccurate picture of the points being made, making discussion pointless.

Enjoy the rest of your season.

<laugh><laugh> No **** Sherlock. You went down because you didn't get enough points??? That's usually what happens, however you also stated "you were desperately unlucky with injuries and the squad was good enough". Boo hoo Obviously it wasn't <laugh>
Yeah enjoy your season too, it's a blast down there. <cheers>

You'd do well to differentiate between those of us who said you were **** and those who didn't.

Our team self-evidently isn't better than yours.

Sorry OLM, it's difficult to remember exactly which piece of deluded drivel was said by which poster, you all just kind of blend in to one.

After the comments that were made after your reserves drew with our reserves in the League Cup, I was interested to see whether you genuinely thought you had a squad that was close to being as good as ours.

I was interested to see whether you really were that arrogant and deluded, after making judgements on just one game.

Turns out, most of you are.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we're a team of world beaters, obviously we won't finish anywhere near 3rd, the run will come to an end soon, we will slide. I'd be ecstatic if we finished mid-table.

But I find it completely laughable that only "a few" of our players would make it at Hull... Vardy may just make it, and "probably" Mahrez <doh>

At this moment, the pair would make it in to the majority of Premier League clubs.
But no, not Hull...

You have had a couple seasons in the Premier League and have developed serious delusions of grandeur.
Your team is not Premier League quality, if you were in it this season, I honestly think you'd get relegated.

But whatever, each to their own, I'm not going to make you see the light... Enjoy winning the Championship and your comfortable mid table finish in the Premier League next season <ok>

For me the biggest 'inaccuracy' is those dismissing us as a two man team ...MOD picked up on one aspect last night - the contributions of Schlupp and Albrighton down the left ... difficult for any team to deal with that constant threat ... plus Drinky and, in particular, the marvellous N'Golo Kante...Drinky was having quite a poor game yesterday. ... then came that wonderful 1-2 with Vvards and we have 2 goal lead ...cracking stuff. ..

Kante is some player and looks like an absolute steal to get him for around 5m.

Still cannot believe Villa let Albrighton go for free.
