On the other thread you are saying dont expect etc regarding Brady now you have him in your team? As you say he may be great but i wouldnt put him straight in. The more i see of these players the less i like the look of a promotion push. Fryatt and Simpson dont work. Mckenna Chester and Evans in a midfield is way too negative. Just mckenna and Evans together is too negative.
I really do think were gonna have a good team next season, when everyone is fit... ------------Gulasci Rosie--Chester--Hobbs--Dudgeon Stewart--Oli?--Bullard?--Koren ------Ade/Simo--Fryatt------ If Jimmy and Oli are no goes then Evans and Mckenna straight in.
I think that with players we have now we will have a very good team, with a few decent loan signings we will have an excellent squad.
I hoped we would get better competition before kick off but a bit late now. I will be watching the Blackpool game which should be on 'live' here in Oz at about 5.00am Saturday so will have to get my old rattle out. Is Jimmy injured? Will he be part of the team next season? Will Simpson hit the back of the net? Have we got a team good enough to consolidate in this league next season? We won't know until after the first few games.
It's just that midfield that really is the biggest question mark. My money would be on Bullard being there if he is still at the club but I'd like to see evans there and I think McKenna would be a very likely starter, too. Hope the Brady rumours are true because there isn't a lot of width in the squad whatsoever
