I would go with the first option.

The second one would be more fun to watch, but it's too offensive

Doni is supposed to sign for Liverpool tomorrow and the players get back from the Asia tour on Saturday, I expect us to have Gulasci ahead of the Ferriby game. We might even have Brady ahead of that game if the rumours are to be believed.

My insiders (the voices insidermyhead) tell me those are the two options for the Blackpool game.

Well would go more on the 2nd formation as it will suit the way Blackpool also play. Open and attack minded.
What a game that could be for SKY LIVE AROUND THE WORLD.

Mckenna would protect the back 3 and i would go for Dawson instead of Dudgeon and Koren in the hole in place of the injured Stewart. I always say that attack is the best form of defence.

If were signing Brady to cover for the injured Stewart and Stewart is out till October at least how is it possible to start them both for the Blackpool game?

Just read Dani Pacheco's loan deal has fallen through with Coventry City - anyone think we could be in for him - great attacking midfielder? - seems to be the sort of player Pearson goes for.

Problem is that with both line-ups Galacsi, Brady or Ayala are not yet available for us.
Hopefully when the team is back training at Cottingham on Monday things may be more clearer.

We might need to jiggle the midfield, Jimmy's injured apparently. :emoticon-0120-doh:

He's recovering from minor knee surgery and, as far as I'm aware hasn't started training yet so wouldn't be ready for the Blackpool game. It's not stopped people putting Stewart in the time though I notice...

Yes, I thought that. But I also read that Liverpool want him closer to Merseyside next season. Don't know what that means quite, but we're not much closer than Cov.

As things stand the line-up will be:

    Gulasci

    Rosenior.......Hoobs......Chester......Dudgeon

    Koren......McKenna.....Evans......Brady

    Fryatt......Simpson

Although a lot depends on the friendlies. I can quite easily see Adebola starting in place of Homer, and if Ayala comes back I can see us play a 5 man midfield with Chester playing just in front of the CBs and Koren replacing Simpson and playing just behind Fryatt.

In fact we could have a good stab at 4-2-3-1 if we get Ayala back:

    .......................Gulasci

    Rosenior.......Hobbs......Ayala......Dudgeon

    ..............McKenna.....Chester

    ...........Koren......Evans.........Brady

    .......................Fryatt
