I welcome all in to Wales without discrimination, i am merely pointing out that in my opinion a lot of those who will be attending games will be coming from the west country, and border areas of England,

where in my last post do i say i am against people coming to Wales?

Knackered i speak for Mabonjack and nobody else. The people of Wales will decide the future of our proud nation. And should that be an independent Wales then so be be it, there is a school of thought that feels the union is dying who knows they may be right,

Oh and Wales is a constituent country of Great Britain not a region.

But this merging of nations can't happen, because you have said it yourself that we are going to be independent in a little while, and Scotland next year. So by what you are saying its not going to be possible, it will be like merging Portugal with Spain then.

But in the real world it still won't happen as the forcible merging of football nations will have dire consequences around the world. Maybe all the Caribbean nations joining together or forcing Czech and Slovakia back together again, or the ultimate to have a soviet union team ?

And the Olympics is the best teams of under 23s in the world playing against each other, nothing wrong with that at all, as there are other similar competitions around right now, or am I imagining Brian Flynn managing the under 21 team for Wales before he left ?

Valley now you know as well as me that what i have said is that the people of Wales will decide our fate as a nation. i do however beleive that England will drive the seperation issue over the coming years.

By your last statement it is obvious that you still have not grasped the problem, i am glad you mentioned the soviet union, because when that broke up there became 15 new members of the FIFA family, FIFA would love to bring about a british fa because it means 3 less associations to deal with. and like i have said before they only need to take a vote and it will happen. there is a problem when our footballing independence is at stake

England can't vote to separate, don't be daft how can they vote to dissolve the union without the others? Its got be a vote by the celtic nations to do that not the other way around.

You mention the soviet union and 15 new states, but merging them back together would be exactly the same as merging the british sides together, it will never happen on both counts. There is nothing at stake because it hasn't been discussed, so how can it be at stake? You are basing this on nothing. And I think that its got nothing to do with the football, just your hatred of all things english and british.

I would rather live in the world of positivity rather than taking it all in then looking at it in the most negative light possible, I have yet to see you say one thing positive about the olympics or the welsh athletes taking part, its a huge honour for them to do so, but I suppose you think the rest of them are tossers as well

Don't mean to offend anyone on here this is just a hypothetical question.

If after the Olympics FIFA and UEFA said that we could not compete individually any more as four countries and had to play as one GB team how would you all feel ?

I only ask as I think this is what Mabon seems to be saying (sorry if I'm wrong Mabs).

Remember this is hypothetical I'm not saying I think it would happen.

I'd be very pissed off and I'm interested in everyone's thoughts

Not that its going to happen but I would feel disappointed not being able to see wales play at some point in the future, would I be heart broken? Well right now no as the FAW have effectively disenfranchised me from supporting them. They have taken the support of 65k a game down to I think 10k-12k a game, what does that tell you how people feel at the moment? They won't fill the cardiff stadium or ours with welsh fans, as people don't really care.

Out of interest how many games have you been to in the last 5 years ?

    Can't see the problem.
Having welsh players in the GB team is just the same as welsh teams in the English leagues

Yes amateur ones, they are about the level of the southern or northern league, with no chance of progression.

    Valley,

Been to 8 Wales games in the last 4 years, it's all I can afford as I go to nearly all Swans away games.

Basically I think we're all of the same thinking that Wales comes first and foremost but I have no problem with team GB and I hope our players do themselves proud.

Won't be going to watch them as I have to watch the purse strings and QPR away takes precedence.

I thought FIFA have said any home country having players playing in a GB team will not affect the home countries FA
I think it would be good to see english welsh and scottish playing together just in the olympics

I have been to 2 games, both as speedy as manager, I actually thought they were worth watching then. I went to one when Toshack was manager, I wanted to slash my wrists then and stopped going.

The English will drive the seperatist agenda because they have 84% of the population of these isles they have as much right to leave the union as the celtic nation do, they vote to leave and they leave, what makes you think it has to be the celtic nations that have to leave?, you may not be aware of this but to be a full member of FIFA you have to be a member state of the United nations, when the soviet union broke up they all became seperate member states of the united nations, the difference is that we are a member state of the united nations but it is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, so in terms of FIFA membership they would be well within their rights to merge the british associations, do you see where this is leading valley its very different from the soviet union as it does not exist today but the UK of GB & NI does exist
