What are people thinking? Yesterday was disastrous and it's vital we get this result out of our system quickly. We really need to go out and take the game to Stoke as they'll be quick to smell any mistakes after yesterday's result. I think we have a bit of a catch 22 situation where constant changing of the team is disrupting cohesion but then not many players are staking a strong claim for a first team spot.

I have been saying for a while we should go to 352, particularly with Moses and now Robbo likely to be out. West Spam had been leaking goals and they went to a 352 against Palarse yesterday and won and looked a lot more solid at the back. I think it just suits the player we have at the moment, and gets Mbokani and Hernandez up front together, as I am sure they can make a good partnership.

This :emoticon-0148-yes:

Marshall
Davies Dawson Livers
Elmo Clucas snodders Mason ??
Abel Mbokani

Just not sure who to play wing back. Unless Sam plays there and Meyer comes in. Has to be 3-5-2.

Assuming Robbo is out, I do think Clucas is just a good enough football brain to play wing back, though not sure would be his best position. I am less convinced about Snodgrass, who on the evidence of yesterday's tackle selection can be either a matchwinner going forward or a liability defensively. I am also beginning to wonder if Livermore' sbest position is centre back, whereas Maguires might be CDM. It will never happen but I'd go for.
Marshall (just - jury still out)
Davies Livermore Dawson
Elmo Snodgrass Maguire Meyler Clucas
Hernandez Mbokani

I do wonder if Maguire could do a job in there. Not convinced with him as a centre back.

What ever we play I don't want to see our first action as retreating to our 18 yard area like we have done recently. Even more negative than Bruce.

I prefer Livermore to Maguire at CB regardless of where/whether Maguire plays to be honest
