The defence has been a strength so to suggest changing it and going to three at the back is crazy. I would pick Meyler, along with Livermore, Clucas and Snodgrass in midfield. Meyler had a poor game last night but the MK Dons game is the perfect opportunity for him to make amends. He and Livermore together have been a strength in midfield - long may that continue. Up front should see the return of Hernandez and I would play Akpom with him, though Powell, and Aluko both have claims. The last person I would pick is Diame - he is fast becoming a liability, which is frustrating.
Meyler shouldn't even be in the ****ing squad after last night. I know we were playing Arsenal but **** me, he needs a good shake of the head. It's not the first time mr 100% has played badly this season, at least those who usually blindly support him seem to be recognising how poor he was last night.
Hope he gets back to his best, but it's gonna take him a while to get back into the squad on that performance.
I agree Meyler was poor last night but I'm not one to overreact to one poor performance like you appear to be!. He has proved, in partnership with Livermore, to be a key part of our success this season & for that reason I would be happy to give him another chance. Name me a player who has not had a bad game this season at some point?Changing the defence would be mad, but playing Meyler (who was utterly appalling last night) is a good idea?
Righto.

My team for MK Dons:
McGregor
Odubajo Davies Dawson Tymon
Livermore Hayden
Snodgrass Akpom Robertson
Hernandez
Have to give Tymon a chance at some point, this might be the best time to do so, against one of the easier teams (on paper) we have left.
What's the sudden reason to include Tymon instead of Clucas and push Robbo up?

Clucas has been off it the past couple of games (and he's been my player of the season so far, so no anti-Clucas stuff from me), and I think not only that Tymon deserves a chance, but that Robertson, who has shown how good he is attacking, should be given a bit more free reign further forward.
I'd probably bring Clucas on in the second half anyway.

Everyone's on his case because of the chances he missed v Brum and the one chance v Weds.
But he gets in good positions - he'll score again soon enough if SB keeps faith. I'd say now is NOT the time to drop him.
I'd just like to see somtheing different, even if only one game. The chances of Tymon starting on Saturday are just shy of zero.
And rightly so.
