Meyler shouldn't even be in the ****ing squad after last night. I know we were playing Arsenal but **** me, he needs a good shake of the head. It's not the first time mr 100% has played badly this season, at least those who usually blindly support him seem to be recognising how poor he was last night. Hope he gets back to his best, but it's gonna take him a while to get back into the squad on that performance.
Just don't see anything in Powell. Head down, selfish and about as far away from being a team player as you could be. Is he fitting in with the squad?
I agree Meyler was poor last night but I'm not one to overreact to one poor performance like you appear to be!. He has proved, in partnership with Livermore, to be a key part of our success this season & for that reason I would be happy to give him another chance. Name me a player who has not had a bad game this season at some point?
He wasn't poor, he absolutely ****ing appalling, he might as well have been wearing an Arsenal shirt. We've got plenty of suitable replacements, there's no point in risking a player who currently looks like he's forgotten how to play football, we can't afford afford to be dropping more points. Hayden shouldn't have been dropped and he should now be given another opportunity.
My team for MK Dons: McGregor Odubajo Davies Dawson Tymon Livermore Hayden Snodgrass Akpom Robertson Hernandez Have to give Tymon a chance at some point, this might be the best time to do so, against one of the easier teams (on paper) we have left.
Clucas has been off it the past couple of games (and he's been my player of the season so far, so no anti-Clucas stuff from me), and I think not only that Tymon deserves a chance, but that Robertson, who has shown how good he is attacking, should be given a bit more free reign further forward. I'd probably bring Clucas on in the second half anyway.
Everyone's on his case because of the chances he missed v Brum and the one chance v Weds. But he gets in good positions - he'll score again soon enough if SB keeps faith. I'd say now is NOT the time to drop him.
I'd say now, considering we've gone a few games without scoring, IS the time to try something, even if only for one game. I'd just like to see somtheing different, even if only one game.
The thing is,at this stage of the season few supporters can still actually agree what our best starting eleven should still be? The back four picks itself Imo. It's been the midfield and more recently up front were we are obviously struggling at the moment. For what it's worth now Bruce and the club made a huge mistake pulling out of the Gray deal, few people on here would admit that he is now that missing link Burnley needed and without wanting to judge Diomande to soon, only a fool would argue you only get what you pay for, especially up front.
I've closely studied those fixtures & predict we will comfortably achieve promotion. Please consider my extensive experience & success in the Prediction League competition before questioning my more than accurate prediction.
Just to add I still rate Hernandez but he cannot deal with what he arguable see's as a the lack of proper service and its shows in his moods and selfishness.
