Tan has done what any employee facing a gross misconduct charge would do, jump before he’s pushed. Keeps his record intact and HR at Hull City will give him a reference for his next job too.

resigning does not stop any police investigation though…..
Especially if he leaves the UK.Without evidence of such I suspect whatever the dispute is, it will be deemed a civil matter.
Did he commit a criminal offence?

I was watching videos about last week loss of Fener, there were a slight mention of Tan situation. Very very long video, 2 hours about everything Turkish football, but very basically Acun part can be summarized as below:
Acun was in MKM last Sunday to follow game, received critics from Fener fans and one former influential figure, instead he should be at Fener stadium while team is losing points etc. One of the pundits were defending Acun that situation in Hull requires attention, he had to be there "to tidy up" due to latest incidents, amount of money lost is actually huge.
He should be here because he's our owner, rather than Fenerbahce where he's just on the board. End of. Unless they're playing and we're notI was watching videos about last week loss of Fener, there were a slight mention of Tan situation. He'd be perfectly within his rights to devote some time to them, yes, putting Fenerbahce third on his list of priorities. Their fans can **** off even if they are "losing points". I'm sure the rest of their board who don't have other commitments can handle itI wonder how fans of Maribor feel?
I bet they like Benjamin Tetteh - he scored their injury time equaliser last night.I wonder how fans of Maribor feel?
"City have not commented publicly since Kesler’s sudden departure and it’s understood owner Acun Ilicali is not planning on discussing his exit, either. Hull Live understands a replacement will not be sought externally, instead a reshuffle of existing staff has taken place"
Any more gossip on this?
I suspect there is less to this story than meets the eye.....
