He was employed in a health and safety capacity with the sole purpose of making sure fire alarms worked when needed
It's what 1 person thinks that matters, and he's got more insight into what he's looking for and the skill sets of those in situ than anyone on here. As long as they've got strong enough fingers to "break the glass" as and when needed...
He was also talking to the council about Walton Street although he's still on hold, that's 01482 300300 for you. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Maybe that's it? Turkish twitter is wrong and there's no missing millions at all, just went on damn phone bill sitting on hold to HCC planning department.
Planning department? Nah, he was trying to arrange a bulk (five items only) rubbish collection. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
To be fair to the East Riding lot at Beverley they were most efficient when I rang up to arrange a bulk collection.
Had to read that again, I thought it said transfers rooms. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
A bit of both. Anyway, why are you still performing? You should have made enough money to retire by now...
That’s a false equivalency. There’s a difference between getting promoted into a more senior role within your field to getting promoted to something completely outside your skill set and experience.
I don't think the post I quoted was about that at all. It just suggested that if you're not already working at the more senior level then you don't deserve to be. We were specifically talking about people within the same field.
Rent Free Land. Just to say when they eventually answer a 300300 call it's usually good service. The bin men broke our brown bin (garden waste) recently and I rang 300300 and they replaced it three days later. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
t Our bin men are really good. One lot always give my dogs a biscuit. If the wife is taking them for a walk they can be a long way from our house and if they see a bin lorry the dogs stop expecting a biscuit. A while ago they were a fair distance from our house and the regular bin lorry went by. The driver saw them and stopped and waited for them to catch up and one of them hopped out to give them their biscuit.
Same round here. Plays havoc with my dog walking though as the dog I walk can't differentiate between a bin man and a delivery man (or a works van man etc etc). Like you, recent bulk collection worked really well. Just wish they wouldn't leave bins abandoned in the middle of the path #firstworldproblemseh
