I've never known anybody in the history of football were everybody speaks about them all with the same opinion.
Too true - I've read both sides of the story - some people think he's excellent and others don't! So I'll reserve my judgement until I know more about him!!

A few of my mates are Celtic fans and they all speak highly of him! Not exactly sure how they'd know but they probabloy do know more than I do!!

He had about 5 shots at Celtic and couldn't get the better of them once. I think a manager that was a bit special might have pulled that off. I'm pretty sure Aberdeen had the highest wage spend after Rangers and Celtic. He pretty much done what was expected, imo.

I'm not saying he won't be a success and obviously I hope he is. Nothing I've read or know about him is giving me much hope, tbh.

I know mate - agree totally! But then again, nobody got the better of Celtic in any domestic competition last season! Sure they're the only team anywhere to have ever done that! Pretty good going!!

But, as commo says above, not inspiring by any stretch but only time will tell

BREAKING NEWS sky transfers centre 15-20 today

Sunderland have been granted permission to speak to Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes after compensation was agreed between the two clubs, Sky sources understand.

We understand Aberdeen were looking for around £1m for the Scot, who has two years left on his contract at Pitodrie.

McInnes will now travel to Sunderland for talks at the Stadium of Light once he returns form his holiday in the US.

£1m for a no mark manager! The only record he ever broke in the championship was Bristol City's longest ever run of defeats!

This is a truly inspiring appointment, proved he could manage the 3rd biggest team in Scotland which might as well be semi-pro. To be fair though you will do well to convince him to take the step down!

Well you can say what you want
He is the best we could of got
And I for one wanted him from the outset

Don't want him because I wanted Pearson but I'll give him a chance.

I just hope he doesn't bring any Scottish players because Boro did that and it backed fire big time.

Over to you Mr mcinnes <ok>

some of the fans are getting on his back already boils my piss give him a chance
Nobody is getting on his back, on this forum, as far as I can see?

People aren't just blowing smoke up his arse, some posters are expressing doubts about him which seem justified. I haven't seen anybody getting on his back, though.

Whereabouts have you seen people getting on the guys back?

Pearson got lucky with a good backroom team, he was ****e without Andrex at Derby, a man of the moment and lives on that now..

To many of these one trick ponies around, Paul Lambert springs to mind, clubs were tossing themselves over this dude a few years ago..

Anyway, Pearson looks like Theresa May without the lippy, strong and stable with a few kangaroos chucked in.. ;)
