Should the club remains in the hands of the Allams(no takeover emerges) and we are promoted at the end of this season I presume the purse strings would only be loosened slightly and Season pass prices would yet again rise .

At the end of the day the Allams aren't stupid. A full kc at a cheaper ticket would likely mean more income to them and a better performance from the team (though we can't do much better at home than we are already) which would mean more money for them. Not sure why the hike in the first place as it essentially hurts themselves more from a financial point of view.

the allams stated that if they didnt get the name change, then they would run the club as a business.i think putting the prices up was a dummy spitting exercise.but its put their outlay at risk and therefore probably affected the interest rate at which they borrow the money and lend to the club (at a profit of course).this is just my view and may not be correct.just the way i see it.

If they were running it as a business they would be maximising revenue, which would be at a lower price that would see the stadium full each week.

He's right.

Regardless of the name change etc they will be leaving us with a decent legacy and for all the outrage, the club is well run from a business perspective.

It's Not doing too badly from a football one too.

when the Allams took over - we were in the Championship, crowds of over 20k and debts of £30 million - now were in the championship, crowds of 5000 less and debts of £77 million - decent legacy, more like a **** up

The debt is to the owners not to third parties, infinitely better.
