Why would a government backed by the USA who in turn control NATO who in effect surround Russia, be a threat?
You do know Hitler used the same excuse that Putin is using now?

Instead, he told reporters that the heavily armed men are "local self-defense forces." What's more, anything Russia has done, Putin said without offering specifics, has been part of a "humanitarian mission" to protect ethnic Russians in Crimea.
Are you proposing that NATO are planning to attack Russia? If they are, then it's a bit short-sighted to have removed nearly all UK forces from Germany (and the rest will be gone in 4 years) don't you think?

You have sited a list of near misses between russian and western aircraft in Syria, and have claimed it as evidence of Russian Imperialism.
