45% happy with that ! what is it with the team they cant hold onto a lead at all, and not clinical enough , they go from the sublime to a bunch of ****s in the blink of an eye mun !!
Michu was injured for most of last season. We had Leon playing deep, JDG alongside him and Shelvey pushing forward as the #10.
Look at this from a results perspective.
We played Arsenal and City - split the points but performed at a very high level for 90 minutes. A coherent performance, we could see our style imposed on the game and we were very controlled in possession didn't give the ball away cheaply at all.
We played Palace - we were dire, not coherent, lost shape, lost midfield, our style was not very visible except for the first 15 minutes when we were walking past them.
What was the one key thing different between the two sets of performances? And it apparently has a marked impact on how we play in terms of style, shape and control.
Plenty of positives to take from the game:
1) We had no-one sent off
2) I didn't get wet walking to or from the stadium
3) No new injuries
4) I had a nice pie before kick-off
5) one point is better than none

I didn't see that Swansea team. I watched the one where JdG and Vasquez supported the striker and then late into the season JdG was moved out wide to accommodate a returning Michu, whilst Vasquez was benched. All the while with Shelvey playing alongside Leon.
I'd say it was Tom Carrol to be honest, he's lightweight but can make the game flow nicely.
Vasquez played in very few games even under Laudrup. What does he have to do with anything. When JDG was playing with Shelvey he was mostly in the deeper position and Shelvey was the one playing higher.
That's the point I was hoping somebody else would make. Although, why does he always get tagged with the term lightweight - if he's pulling his weight how can he be light.
A very entertaining game from both sides. plenty of positives with one negative of poor finishing.

Fab - stayed on his line a lot
Rangel - some good play esecially going forward for me, looked like he was struggling to get back enough
Bartley - did pretty much everything expected
Ash - as above
Taylor - some decent moments, but got toasted in the second half. I still can't work out his positioning. I agree, why does he keep coming infield so much?
Ki - good first half but faded ... because
Shelvey - was rarely of any use, behind CP players so couldn't take the pass, out of position, slow getting back after playing 'number 10' and putting extra pressure on Ki, Taylor and Ash in particular.
Routs - willing but well marshalled
Siggy - worked hard Seemed like a lot of huffing and puffing to me. No end product
Montero - given a decent pass he made the CP defence look like parks players, but was pretty much starved of the ball.
Bony - other than his goal little went right for him.
Gomis - did nothing
Barrow - fast but no better at getting past his marker
Monk - why start Shelvey and, more strangely why keep him on. Back to nonsensical substitutions.
Ref - gave a soft pen to CP (haven't seen replays, was it a pen?).Yes it was
Playing poorly coincided with the return of Shelvey. For a player that has two very different sides to his game, it's disappointing to have a game with all of the bad traits. Should have gone at half time or 60 mins.
Pretty obvious we sat back on the lead again and gave up another 2 easy points. CP were dreadful.
