Shelvey .... I don't see what he delivers. H'e not a ball winner. He's not that mobile. He's not even that good a passer. He's sluggish. He doesn't make plays because he's not moving and busy enough to get that involved.

I've lost patience. He may be a good player for some clubs, but he just doesn't fit with us. In fact, I think his presence on the field is a detriment and in the central role in midfield he just doesn't deliver what he should.

A dire performance in retrospect after starting so well. We could have, should have, scored 3 or 4 in the first half. Palace were no match for us in the first 15 minutes thereafter we lost the plot, we lost midfield.

There are few things in life there are meant to be. One was swansea winning europa league with laudrup a second one would be wilf scoring the winner against palace.

Jonjo must be sold in January. The fact that he played the full game today, I'm hoping he doesn't feature Tuesday night. He is killing our style of play.

And we all know the reason why. He better not bloody play Tuesday night <grr>

Did we do the same BS with Shelvey that we did with Ki - minimum game guarantee. I am trying to understand why we persist with him. He is not adapting - two season now - and we lose ourselves because of the way he plays.

He hasn't hit is form this season, nobody can deny that. But he was our top scoring midfielder last season wasn't he?

He was playing #10 last season. He was supposed to score. He's not going to displace Sig in that role.

I don't remember him playing much behind the striker last season, I think you might be confusing him for Michu and De Guzman. Although JdG was moved more out wide but even then I don't remember Shelvey taking on that role.

Michu was injured for most of last season. We had Leon playing deep, JDG alongside him and Shelvey pushing forward as the #10.
