No idea but is there anything worse than seeing grown men in football shirts at the pub?

Fair enough at 6 a side or something but ffs you're at the bar not on the ****ing bench.

We went for a night out in Newcastle a few weeks back and I could have sworn there was a Newcastle match on that day, everybody had their black and white tops on in pubs.

I still have an old Crown Paints Liverpool top that was passed down to me by my brother once they'd realised it was looking like a tank top on him, I think they surgically removed it with the help of some 999 lube. [HASHTAG]#memories[/HASHTAG]

Last time I got a replica top was 1991...30 quid even back then..before that was 1985 when my dad saw it in some cash n carry back in the day

Since then I've had a few fakes because my bro used to go to China with his mate, 4 quid a pop..wear them for 5 a side etc...still got a cool AC Milan number lying around somewhere

Turkey is my go to for snides. Used to go a few times a year and fill up a couple cases of fake ***s, fake football shirts, watches. Anything fake - suckers in the UK love a fake.

This old debate.

My opinion, which will never change, is that you support your local or a localish team.

How can kids get properly into football if they can't easily go to a game? It makes no sense to me at all, as I kid I loved going to games and my sons love going to games.

United are my own local team and Swansea are my boy's local team. I take them to both but I'd never force United on them. They do gravitate towards United though so I get the family connection bit.

I just don't, and never will, understand 'supporting' a team you have no connection to and will never go and watch because they're based miles away. Sorry if that doesn't fit with a lot of people but there you go.

Foreign fans are a different story but I couldn't care less about them to be perfectly honest.

Pittsburgh Steelers by the way. First game I ever saw they beat Dallas Cowboys so I supported them thereafter. Turns out they're good so that's a plus!
