Excellent and unselfish play. Great first touch , rapid and lovely build up to the 2nd goal

It looks like he can play anywhere across the front line and will suit our style of play.

With him and Aouchiche in contention we'll have the pace, and strength in depth, we've lacked for years.

It'll be difficult to keep your eyes on the ball ... hopefully defenders will have the same problem.

Together with Pritch, Roberts, Clarke, Ba… Ekwah, Jobe, Neil…. (deep breath) Dack, Bennette, all really skilful and - importantly - clever footballers. Might the quality of football get even higher than last season?

I think it can and, for the first time, I'm more interested in the journey than the destination.

As long as we play wonderful entertaining football I'll be happy ...

... and just imagine if Amad comes back in January <laugh>

Was wondering about that, unless they think it takes us up, doubt they'd want him getting in the way of our own players. Would be a big indication of our hopes this season I think.

I think Amad only comes on loan if Roberts goes in January. Which if he hasn’t signed a contract, feels very possible

Is it not going to be just as dependent upon where Man Utd find themselves in January rather than just our circumstances? As things stand there, if he wasn't injured at the minute he'd be very close to starting for them.

I thought his link up play with Roberts was brilliant at times. Signing Amad to play with Roberts makes huge sense, not so much to replace him,if that's the suggestion.

sorry yeh I meant from our perspective. Completely agree

it would be great for sure. But currently Roberts can’t get in the team. Where does this leave Ba who’s actually our player? And Rusyn who looks like he may be a good wide player cutting in as much as number 9? And Jobe who is essentially playing the number 10 role. And Pritchard who can’t get in the team but has been our best player when he does get in.

Not saying I wouldn’t take Amad as he’d clearly be our best player. It’s just not that simple any more tho. We don’t want to stifle the development of others just for 5 months of him, unless we think we have a good chance of automatics.
