Yeah it was more than a bit rough last night, hopefully we get the deals over the line (think we have already tbh) and by the time the next window rolls around people remember this one (and all the previous ones under Dreyfus) and have a bit of faith. It's been earned.

Aye. Any more talk about them not having a plan and all that ****e we just need to close them down.

Could have banked millions stood strong and brought in players above the level.

Fair do.

Haha ****ing shambles the clip of us all last night mind.

Including me. Front and centre, about to let the tyres down on KLD jet.

Lollzz
I was quite relaxed but that's probably cos I'm not on social media, apart from here, and see the positive until safc prove me wrong yet again! Good example is me explaining to my dad why Graham Stewart sp? was the answer and why my dad was clueless  Basically never learn but after 40 years supporting I'm being proved right. Smiling stopped clock, why not though eh? <cheers>

Having good players that other teams want is hard for all of us to get our head around because we've been dog **** for circa 15 years.
Just got to trust the people in charge, I think they deserve a bit of leeway. I know KS isn't everyone's cup of tea but the way the club have turned us around in just a couple of years is unbelievable really.
It'll be hard with the parachute teams but you can get 33s on us winning the league and 10s to get promoted. We're literally a goalscorer away from one of the best teams in the league (barring Neil and Ekwah getting injured <laugh>) and we've just bought 2 today ffs

Sunderland AFC is delighted to announce the signing of Timothée Pembélé.

The 20-year-old right back has signed a five-year contract at the Stadium of Light, joining the Club from Paris Saint-Germain for an undisclosed fee.

Pembélé has made 37 senior appearances in Ligue 1, featuring 11 times for PSG and 26 times during a successful season-long loan with FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

The right back moved to the French capital from US Persan 03 in 2015 and he made his senior debut five years later in November 2020, featuring in a star-studded XI that also included Kylian Mbappé and Neymar.

After making his UEFA Champions League debut the following week, he scored his first goal for PSG before the end of 2020 in a 4-0 win over RC Strasbourg Alsace.

Pembélé moved to the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux for the 2021-22 season and he made 28 appearances prior to returning to PSG due to injury, with his return to first-team action coming in February.

A Ligue 1 and Coupe de France winner, the 20-year-old has represented for France at youth level at Under-16, 17, 18 and 20 level, whilst also turning out for Les Bleus at the 2020 Olympic Games.

Kristjaan Speakman added: “Timothée possesses a range of attributes that we wanted to add to our squad this summer, which will build depth and add competition within the group. The fact he has chosen to commit his long-term future to our Club is a testament to our continued progress and we look forward to helping him settle into life at Sunderland AFC. We will be patient with him as he builds his fitness and then competes for a place in our team, but we are delighted to welcome Timothée to Wearside and believe he can become an important player for us.”
