Sorry, but that's poor form. Our best striker since Defoe mk1 (some may say better) and was professional throughout. No way we'd spend £25k pw on him, and the fact others would suggest he is worth it to those that can afford it.

Better than Defoe is a baffling one mind.
Defoe scored over 100 PL goals despite spending time in US.
Stewart be 28 before he even gets a shot at scoring 1.
I think the latter and he had no takers. Just imo like because we would have definitely let him go from what the club were coming out with.

I just read we offered 20 and Southampton 25 and he is currently on 3 so if that's true (obviously I have no idea of it is or not) that would mean he has missed out on 17k a week since he didn't sign. Over 6 months is about 24 weeks which is about £400,000.
