Agree with others that it feels utterly bizarre that people are happy that Stewart has gone!! We all wanted him to stay but in the end (me anyway) got sick as **** that he was trying to hang the club out to fry and destroy the wage structure.

Good riddance. Doubt he’ll get a hero’s welcome he should’ve expected had it happened the right way. Happy for what he did for us, but sour taste in my mouth.

My feelings exactly

we’ve done a hell of a deal

Just seen there Southampton have given Stewart a 4 year contract. Not that I blamed him for wanting to leave anyway but nobody can fault the lad for leaving that’s his first decent contract after being on peanuts for a footballer most of his career and it gives him a lot of security.

nothing to do with us but Daka is now staying at Leicester. wonder if that means Cannon to Leicester falls through and he ends up back at everton like Simms :D

His miserable face on the lap of appreciation told me everything I needed to now. £10-12m for an injured lad in the last year of his contract is stellar

Stewart is another badly advised striker (same as Bent) who didn't realise how good he had it here and could have been a legend if he fired us to the prem. I'm the same as you, glad it's finally over.
