yes. Common misconception that Medicals are binary and either pass / fail. The reality is they’re purely advisory.

I reckon they’ve seen his Achilles issue means they can’t test a certain thing, or has revealed underlying atrophy, and are now trying to reduce the fee they pay as a result.
