Aouichiche a slight downgrade from Pritch in the short-term but absolutely has the potential to be the better player. We have plenty cover in that position anyway so don't need an immediate starter. Overall, an improvement, imo.

Rak-Sakyi, I've been banging the drum about this lad all summer. He's just as good as Roberts imo, and will only get better. It's an upgrade for me, but maybe I'm biased. At worst a side-grade, imo.

Stewart for Rusyn, admittedly this one is probably a downgrade (though I know nowt about Rusyn). However we have also signed Hemir and Mayenda. Between the three, it's decent enough cover imo. They're mostly young as well so should improve as the season goes on.

No idea why the doom-mongers are out in force on Twitter, etc. Let's see how today pans out.

We're gonna sell Roberts for a packet of jelly beans, Embo, pritch and Gooch gone. Sold our best striker who has been ever present and key part of our squad last 9 months

Every player we get in are going to be bloody foreigners who'll take at least a season to bed , and half of them will pick up injuries and be out for half a season anyhow

At this stage of the window, imo, they would, unless it was something like £15+m. It's strange that all the talk over the last few months, even from Mowbray, has been about Stewarts contract situation but nothing about Roberts, as if they are totally relaxed about it, so I think he will stay.
 
Wyke had a 20+ season with us.
Stewart also had a high scoring time with us.

I wonder if it’s because of the way we play with people like Pritchard, Clarke, Roberts and (with Charlie) McGeady that these strikers get a good goal tally.
How has Charlie done at Wigan?
How will Ross do at Southampton.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if their goals drop by maybe 50%.

Strikers should be trying to join us because I bet we get another 20+ striker this season, Rusyn maybe. We make strikers look better than they possibly are.

No hard feelings for Ross, he done well for us and we made a packet on him.
All the best to Gooch who will be fondly remembered by all of us and really is one of us.

Maybe the new lot coming in will be the upgrade we need as last season we didn’t quite have enough.
I was flapping a bit with all this talk of our ‘top’ players going or being unhappy but I’m less bothered now and to be fair to Speakman he’s done a great job so far.

I'm six hours behind lads and lasses, just out of bed. It's my Silver wedding anniversary.

I met a family from Barnes at the Mexican Bingo (which is exactly how it sounds) last night, which I'm taking as a positive sign.

What's been happening, have we actually sined ;) anyone yet?

With all these departures the club will have a fair bit cash and wages spare. They must have some players up there sleeves.
Probably waiting on Stewart to by sold before our dominoes fall into place.
