Can’t be arsed to read through 30 pages of meltdown, I’m already rough as a snipers elbow but we’ve been linked with Miguel Crespo where the f**k has that came from?

That would be a statement signing surely it’s a load of bollocks
Haven’t looked too much into it but I think Roker Report might have an article up on it. Loan bid in apparently that meets the Turkish club that he’s at requirements.

I had to take about 100 of them through redundancy just before Xmas in 2011. I was on notice too, but I had to dedicate my time to managing them all through the process, trying to allay fears, help them with CVs etc. At the time I told them it (3 months) was the longest notice period they'd ever get and to use the time to look elsewhere.

Not too dissimilar to what the club are doing with Pritch etc - you aren't needed any more, but here's plenty of time to sort something else out
I believe that is different to be honest mate, normally if you have staff ( well my staff anyway ) and tell one or two people they have 12 months and we then don’t want you, the atmosphere becomes toxic as they have nothing to work for and it’s not long before it’s through the whole workforce. I found it’s better to encourage them to leave of their own account and have them leaving on a high rather than on a low. A very good skill to learn <ok>

Didn’t Amad, Michut and Ba come totally out of the blue last year? Hoping we’ve got a few more like that lined up where they’ve just not been in the press at all.
Michut was linked (and spotted at the Norwich game) then all 3 were announed on deadline day and introduced (alongside Bennette) at HT v Rotherham

They definitely do but there’s some serious piss taking mind. They’ll know potentially Stewart, Roberts, Clarke and Pritchard are off on the final day and they think to hoy in a loan bid for Neil. Like as I say they must think we’re clowns.
Disagree. This is normal transfer activity.
Problem is we haven't had player people want for ages fans just not used to it.
Just because we have had bids for players doesn't mean they are leaving and if clubs want to make daft offers its up to them.
At the moment its only Stewart and Gooch who we know are leaving
but if you buy into the hysteria on twitter a bid means its a done deal and we've lost half our team.

Difference is they don’t have agents

serious question would you take £30m for Dan Neil from Liverpool if we bring in Crespo
Liverpool often make OTT bids for players

I think he’s decent but nothing to get too excited about. Like Dack he can’t get into Blackburns team.

Our recruitment this window seems to either be exciting young players or players Mowbray used to manage but are out of favour at a club we finished above last season, whilst selling our better players (if Roberts does indeed follow Stewart)

Not bed wetting and I’m excited to be proved wrong today but right now objectively I can’t see us getting anywhere near ending the window with a stronger squad than we started it.

Which considering the start to the window, feels utterly depressing and I can understand the mood of many.

Maybe Thomasson has changed the shape and the way Blackburn played under Mowbray and it's not that they are no good, it's because they no longer fit that system. We've seen enough in the last 10 years of how a new manager makes wholesale changes.
