I've no idea why a little bit here and over the road, people have seemingly decided that Clarke is getting a transfer today just because a journalist said he's unhappy.

He has a long term deal and no club has bid any figure all summer that was close to what we'd be happy with.

We're not suddenly going to accept £10m because of a news story saying there was "promise".

If he doesn't have a release clause, he gets his head down and gets back to work. If he wants to leave, he can play well enough that clubs are willing to pay more for him.

Stewart and Roberts are totally different situations.

Batth and Pritchard have already been replaced. Gooch is 3rd choice right back.

Get 2 strikers in today (Rusyn and another) and the club have done ok on the Stewart situation.

The Roberts situation is the only one that isn't great, but we've not accepted a bid yet and none of us really know the situation behind the scenes with a new contract for him. We either need to keep him or replace him well. We'll have to see how that looks at the end of the day.

But people are talking is if our whole team is being ripped apart, when 3 of the players are out of favour and 1 hasn't been fit for the best part of a year.
Great post marra.

This place isn’t a debating place. It’s toxic positivity in the face of all the obvious evidence. If it makes you feel better I suppose that’s fine but it isn’t debate and it isn’t reality
What obvious evidence?

You clearly just like winding folk up, only post negative things - if your going to just come on and wind folk up go and make it funny at least

More and more you seem to post.
But quality and reasoning is what you lack the most.
Your style and manner I’ve seen before.
It matters not though as you’re going on ignore.

Big day, and tbh I am a bit nervy, Roberts staying is key for me. On the Clarke stuff, I don’t buy that multiple players have gone running to a journo about how unhappy they are on the same day the news broke. Let’s not forget, Ballard/Hume/onien/cirkin have all signed long term extensions in the past few weeks. Seems like an easy bullshit story to get some clicks for deadline day. Keep Roberts, minimum of 3 signings (I’d like 4) and things are looking positive

Exactly, he only posts to wind things up. Whenever theres negative things in the press he is quick to jump on and when things are going well he never posts

Dont see the point in it myself
If we’re to finish mid table I’d rather do it with lads developing who want to be here than top players who’ve jacked it in because they want a move/pay rise, ideal world jack and roberts get new deals we get the bodies we need and give it a right go but we don’t live in an ideal world and ultimately money trumps all

Sadly this forum over the last few months has seen a few of these. I assume they are not getting their kicks or enough bites on RTG so thought they will try over here.
