I’m at a party tonight in town so will likely miss all the transfer fun.

Not sure I dare log back on tomorrow.

Well it's here. A monumental day that really will have a large impact on the season ahead. Here is hoping we get some quality deals over the line. I am going for 3 for now but guess it will also depend on any other outgoings.
What’s the score with Paddy Roberts

If he isn’t, will you **** off to your own board and leave, what is a good decent debating place alone?
This place isn’t a debating place. It’s toxic positivity in the face of all the obvious evidence. If it makes you feel better I suppose that’s fine but it isn’t debate and it isn’t reality

I've no idea why a little bit here and over the road, people have seemingly decided that Clarke is getting a transfer today just because a journalist said he's unhappy.

He has a long term deal and no club has bid any figure all summer that was close to what we'd be happy with.

We're not suddenly going to accept £10m because of a news story saying there was "promise".

If he doesn't have a release clause, he gets his head down and gets back to work. If he wants to leave, he can play well enough that clubs are willing to pay more for him.

Stewart and Roberts are totally different situations.

Batth and Pritchard have already been replaced. Gooch is 3rd choice right back.

Get 2 strikers in today (Rusyn and another) and the club have done ok on the Stewart situation.

The Roberts situation is the only one that isn't great, but we've not accepted a bid yet and none of us really know the situation behind the scenes with a new contract for him. We either need to keep him or replace him well. We'll have to see how that looks at the end of the day.

But people are talking is if our whole team is being ripped apart, when 3 of the players are out of favour and 1 hasn't been fit for the best part of a year.

Totally agree with you.

Nobody believes we are signing anyone until they see the scarf pic, yet every little rumour of a player leaving is gospel.

A lot of sensible points in there, pack that in :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It’s strange but because the club keeps all of it cards close to its chest it is more difficult for us to know what is happening . We used to complain before that we were too open and prices were increased. Now we seem to be demanding a better deal from other clubs .
We are a stronger team now than before the transfers , the loss of Stewart affects nothing as he hasn’t contributed for the last few months
We now have a more experienced team than last year , all be it young so they take time to settle as they did last year .
I can’t see why people are complaining about the management as it is clear to see that a lot of things have improved and it looks liked the club can see other problems and are now addressing them
You haven’t took into consideration there are quite a few thicko’s on here growing by the minute <ok>

Haha I was horrendous last night, went for a run first thing this morning and feel okay now but the journos aren’t awake yet :emoticon-0102-bigsm 2 arrivals by 12 and I think the mood will balance out

That was my plan but the calfs are a tad tight from the last few days.

So my puppy has a virus, I came downstairs yesterday morning at 5 to find the most hideous dirty protest, which took me 45 minutes to clear up. I go to bed early on an evening and had to get up for an old mans piss just after 1. Thought I would get up and check the puppy. All good, let the 3 of them out to go to the toilet. So no ****ting the bed from my puppy, but plenty on here are doing it. Wait and see how we are tomorrow night before hoying your toys out of the pram, it might be better than you think.

Good night
Hope the wee pup is back to his best very soon.
