Mate, not sure who you're talking to but I have about a dozen on ignore, who I didn't see much constructive chat or anything really, and it improves things massively. Try not to pull the trigger on that too early and might be missing some class banter but on average reckon after a week or two of constant negativity and presenting rumour as fact to fit a narrative you can get a feel for it!
I was surprised to see the Michut rumour but I agree he's a quality player. He doesn't get a nosebleed getting forward but I think he would be the most natural player to mould into the DCM role. He's a scrapper.
Clarkes not happy now, he said Burnley offered us £10m but the club won't sell. this is a disaster waiting to happen, have they any idea what they are doing ?, it is not to get us promoted by the look of it we cannot replace Stewart or Clarke. i am duffing the Soton game game now. i hope 20,000 more do the same.

keeping my faith here despite these 'late comers to the party' jumping in with negative posts, strange how they all appear almost at once when someone who knows someone who went to school with someones aunty who used to be a dinner lady at some now closed school for the insane....(etc etc)'...heard something from a bloke he once bought a horse from.

So cos Clarkes not happy you want 20k season ticket holders, who’ve already paid their money btw, to not go? I don’t follow the logic here mind, you either support the team or you don’t imho, the fact one player spits his dummy out (which I don’t believe btw), shouldn’t make you stop supporting the team, it really shouldn’t. Unless of course you’re taking the piss and I’ve reacted to a whoosh? But if that’s the case it’s not a v good one.

So the model isn't to get players who have a potential massive profit to sign on the dotted line for as long a possible, so they either play for us for as long a possible or we get maximum profit I we do sell? I thought that was the whole point and asking as Roberts wasn't asking for daft money they should have been trying for 4 years minimum still only 30 at the end of it.

I'm none of those. I'm genuinely intrigued about what is going to unfold tomorrow.
I think a lot of the Internet talk tonight is just speculation and panic fuelled by Southampton's bid for Roberts, helped along by a few ****-stirrers. It's no good worrying about something we have no control over. Just see how the day unfolds tomorrow. Just because we've accepted a bid for Stewart doesn't mean we're going to sell off all of our assets.
Fortunately, our recruitment team are a little more level headed than some of the people who have been thrown into panic mode. Roll on tomorrow.
Seems a good replacement for Stewart mate. I was impressed with him when he was at Barnsley and his goalscoring record at championship level is fairly good. He has a good touch for a big man, runs the channels and holds the ball up well. Hope we go for him and get him over the line.

I agree, but that's an eventuality that needs to be planned for when you're at the stage we're at.
we'll onion new contract is 3 years with option of another so don't see why we wouldn't offer roberts the same
but from what i've been told we have
jack clarke has also been offered one
in clarks contact he gets a pay rise in jan
in the new contract we've offered he gets that pay rise now with another pay rise on top in jan
