It's starting to feel like this could be a very bad window unless miracles are pulled in 24hours or so. Losing Stewart was expected but l would be absolutely wounded if Roberts leaves too.

Was referring to injuries etc. same outcome we are short in those positions until the next window.
Just feeling utterly pessimistic at the moment, it’s been relatively quiet all summer barring the Burnley bids for Clarke and all of a sudden we are looking like losing too many players to our rivals for top 6 places.

Season 1 - Cirkin, Alese, Roberts, Huggins & Clarke - all talented lads on the cusp of PL squads
Season 2 - Ballard, Ekwah, Ba, Lihadji, Anderson - some PL lads, others nowhere near 1st teams
Season 3 - Triantis, Seelt, Jobe, Mayenda, Hemir - random, young lads with a handful of 1st team appearances between them

Not criticising the model, just illustrating that the point where we sell these lads is where it's less palatable - especially 24 hours from the window closing
