Absolutely notDo you think we will out bid other championship teams for Cannon? I thinl Cannon will go for more than £8million plus add ons..Everton will probably want most of that up front..
If you are referring to Gooch it probably was because that’s where he lives !Seaham is south so probably

It's your fault I won't sleep tonight.
Is he not referring to Rusyn? Not sure if it’s been said on here or not but I seen Nixon post saying a striker is all but done a few hours ago, hopefully have Ruston announced tomorrow before the deadline day carnage?
Yeah that’s what I mean, was wondering if he will be announced tomorrow, ideally that would be the case before what will be chaos on FridayIs he not referring to Rusyn?
I reckon we would if it was a deemed likely to turn a decent profit in a year or two. Getting players for a few hundred thousand and selling them on for a couple of million is fine but at some point, getting a player for say 5m with 2m in add ons, that sells for 25m in two seasons time is decent business and we will need to move into that market to progress.

I just think if Gooch goes they will pick up a specialist right back. Huggins maybe better in midfield. Hume is great, but I would like someone to push him in that spot.Trai Hume number one , Huggins back up so think we have other areas to consider as being more important I would think .

This. Be about 3or 4m up front. It will be like Simms. Few up front with add ons.
We have remained interested in Cannon all summer.
Not sure we would go that high compared to other teams
Hahahaha. Apologies
Ross Stewart £6.5m + 1.5m proven goal scorer v Tom Cannon £7m not a proven goal scorer with 20 games under his belt????? Mmmmmmmmmmm.Just a thought - Ross Stewart 7million ? Would look a pittance if he fired us to the promised land of the Premier League -Worth a gamble ? I would say so , if in January it looks unlikely we would probably still be able to command the same fee from the front runners trying to ENSURE their promotion .

The flip could also happen, we turn down a 7 million pound bid, he comes back is poor due to his bad injuries - or gets injured again - and we lose him for nothing. Instead of having the money where we could potentially sign a couple of quality players that could improve usJust a thought - Ross Stewart 7million ? Let me play devil's advocate mate. IF is an ambiguous word. Yes Stewart could come back no different than before his injuries but he could also be a totally different player - no pressing, no anticipating. No one really knows until he actually plays a handful of first team games. One thing we do know is that the contract was offered and it wasn't signed before he got injured.
