I'd hate to be in a workplace with the kind of posters who do a forensic analysis on everything that's said or whether someone is smiling enough.

I'd guess they're the kind who count the sugarlumps in the staff kitchen and put labels on the coffee jar saying 'Property of ....... !!!!!!'

Mowbray, above all, wants success at the club, along with everyone else I'd hope ...

... some people seem to thrive on the drama of office gossip more than the success of the company.

The trouble with gossip is that it rapidly and irrevocably turns into 'facts' which are then reposted and repeated until some lazy reporter fills a space with one.

The club would laugh out of the arses at some of the stuff they see.
Couldn't agree more mate was just trying to put a bit of perspective back on to the subject as it tends to spiral toward negativity and I think we have more to be positive about at the minute.

Very likely if you ask me. Putting it bluntly, most of the press hate us. The Daily Hell has hated us for about 20 years, the Mirror is firmly in the mags camp and had been since the early days of Hall and Keegan, so regularly has a downer on us and the Sun? Well, let's remember how the loved calling us "Derland" when they were banned under Bruce, leaking team sheets, transfer targets, quoting Angeleri accusing the club of discrimination against him when he wasn't being picked, and so on. The Custises there are open mag fans, Sean Custis was even there with a photographer when Ashley flew to the mags training ground when he took over. Any credit we get off any of those papers is generally back handed and they can't wait to stick the boot in if they get the chance. The sad thing is most of the rest will follow on because they don't want to look like they're missing out. And the online stuff is even worse for jumping on a bandwagon and repeating stuff

Good job I never read any of that ****e!

Might be wishful thinking but he may well already have done his medical etc. the journalist is reporting we agreed the fee last week.

Perhaps it’s all signed but just not announced because we are waiting for international clearance and don’t want to announce until it’s secured.

he may well have been training all week with us. Also means Coventry line up expecting a false 9 and then get something they weren’t expecting.
