The squad had the day off I'd imagine.Haha you really need to press the reply button, who had a day off, who is injured ?
Sorry mate. Not to say that with the right players in and a pick me up Mowbray won’t cheer up but at this stage with another big game upon us, albeit one we could nick, a key player short. There seems to be a bit of movement at other places now. Stoke more in, Hull, Archer moving so hopefully some cards will fall into place here too and we get through to the end of the season without changing manager.again.Thanks for bursting my bubble mate!
Hmmm well when u put it like that I think it’s all one sided, Mowbray needs to respect his employers and keep his mouth shut, or, and this is a big or, the press are simply highlighting any comment that could be construed as negative and trying to make a story out of it, sowing the seeds of discontent etc etc?Think about the run up to the Luton game, Farioli linked then others, Mowbray couldn’t stop talking about it, same after the game ‘ I don’t know whether I’ll be here’ etc it hurt him, Mowbray said he needed the right strikers pre season, delayed press conference after the Crewe game to go and see Speakman about the striker situation, need someone in sooner rather than later, no striker, signing one in the next couple of days, no striker, flat interview after a win - was that when he’d say striker in by tomorrow and another interview without one? Mowbray throwing jabs, Speakman immovable. That’s not a positive situation. @Prehab26 said he may go, @Wheatsheaf @Bob the Mackem saying not a happy camp, someone said KLD wanted the change. . Did Deodrant say it over the road maybe? Too many shots thrown. Not even mentioned the football insider story only because I don’t trust the media but it might be right.
I think a lack of respect, Farioli in the news etc is Mowbray’s issue. Respect is a two way street. The fact that hit the press without anyone speaking to him is trailer trash tbh. I get why they were doing it, you just make sure the rules are in place before you engage. We manage it with playersHmmm well when u put it like that I think it’s all one sided, Mowbray needs to respect his employers and keep his mouth shut, or, and this is a big or, the press are simply highlighting any comment that could be construed as negative and trying to make a story out of it, sowing the seeds of discontent etc etc?
Got another week of this till the window closes, that's a depressing thought
I’d say your post is also well thought through and supposition. Just depends on where your instinct takes you. I think we’re a well run club with some obvious black holes. Happy to point out both because where ones leaning us forward some are holding us back again. Fill the holes, improve relationships with coach position whoever that might be and strengthen the striking / goal options long term and we’re away and running. Goal getter and goalkeeper are key positions like it or not.I think too many people are thinking too hard about TM and KS, to me TM wants a new contract and the club (KS) are probably waiting until the transfer window shuts to negotiate. TM has recently been through this dance with Blackburn which ended badly for him so is obviously anxious.
Everything else is mostly rumour and supposition based on peoples perceptions of interviews and TM demeanor (which is fairly dour at the best of times). The links to Farioli were leaked from his side and that obviously had an effect on TM but they seemed to surface at a bad time for the club and the cynic in me thinks that this was timed to give Farioli a lot of interest at the end of the season. Maybe KS and TM are not the best of friends but as a lot of previous posters have said they dont need to be.
For me the business the club has done so far seems excellent and people are more hung up looking for reasons to be negative when in reality we should be bursting for the next game to see where this young exciting team can go.
One more point A player can only become experienced by playing games or showing maturity around the club its not the age that matters. Jude Bellingham was Dortmund Captain.

Aww don't say that, we will get one I'm positive of that.Mate we want to hope we get a striker (sure we will, just complicated market at mo) in & signings we need or we will have this until January 31st![]()
It bloody will be if we don't bring any players in.Got another week of this till the window closes, that's a depressing thought
I know **** all in a way like , though I did used to hang out with an agent so know the murky side of it all. but money talks in football and goals cost money. I think probably with Stewart, maybe Clarke, others in the division will pay the going rate got a striker at pre premier league level and we won’t. That means they don’t sign, Simple’s as that. I totally get the cumulative growth thing, caution, value in youth etc but I think it’s a simple as an unrealistic fee to sign goals. Strikers will have other options and if ours isn’t competitive they go elsewhere. But yes they have to balance the books and it must be a nightmare with the greedy little bassa’s.So good points....& Very clear points on a club currently work in progress, transition from where we have been...its not going to happen overnight & could still take couple of years before were truly setup....but constant tweaks will always take place...if they dont were standing still
Mate if I knew how much I would post it.
I did hear it was more to do with wage reductions.
The vast majority of our outgoings is all for wage redistribution.
Got to get the balance right between wage structure and squad quality.
We haven't really let anyone leave yet, so that would make senseThe vast majority of our outgoings is all for wage redistribution.
Straight from the horses mouth?
