Don't even go there lolDefinitely not mate. Id rather have Jeff Whitley
Agreed. Think the pace will pick up and we'll see a couple of departures in addition to Batth & PritchI can see alot of ins and outs for us in this window still.

Not going to pretend I know how to run a football club but I’d imagine a 20 million sale means we get higher cost emerging players who have a higher ceiling and on it develops. You’re possibly right like, by the same calculation, wait one season and 30 get us even more. Coventry are signing players we can’t afford though and that must make a sale tempting if we have players just out of reach (not that I’d want Simms tbh)If, as KLD wishes, we become a truly sustainable club we'll be under no pressure to sell off our Crown Jewels ...
... that will put us in the position of the likes of Brentford and Brighton who can ask for silly money and get it.
Selling to suckers like Everton is a double bonus because they're spending themselves into oblivion.
And we're a club players like playing for, what a massive change.
We need options. Especially attacking players who give us tweaks within games. IF Roberts was injured yesterday, what then ?Rak-Sakyi looks really talented, I mentioned him at the start of the summer as an Amad replacement. I'd rather he wasn't a Roberts replacement, he'd be a good addition as a Lihadji replacement though.
A money man Eh!Things are beginning to hot up.
I’m away to Staithes for a few days.
Hopefully all wil be clear when I get back.
Agreed. As important as a striker imo.Are there no whispers or links to any holding midfielders?
IMO we are crying out for a natural holder I get the clammer for a centre forward but theres plenty goals in the team as it is a natural holder would help to rectify the sloppy goals we’ve conceded so far!
cant see Cannon coming here still reckon he go to Preston once Everton get a strikerIf it was Cannon who is close... well... Calvert-Lewin has just gone off injured again.
Ideal world we get a no.9, a CDM and a Broadhead type who can play across the front 3I think a CDM is important as well but would say striker is the more immediate priority. Want both before window closes.
