From memory they won at the Etihad last season, with 8 of the starting 11 being bought before promotion. That's what KLD would like to emulate in my opinion

They’ve brought in a total of about 300 million in players sales this window and the two last season.
In the last 12 months they have received £300m in player sales. Add TV money, prize money, sponsorships etc I'd call that sustainable
thats from accounts ending 18 months ago. theyve since made quarter of a billion.

If the rumours about a “final” bid on for Rusyn are correct, it could be mind games to claim we are close to alternative targets to see if his club get twitchy and accept our bid.
All the arguments and discussions on this board are a glaring advert for how much progress the club has made over the last few years. New season with no fit regular striker, playing well but can’t score goals etc. Two or three years ago people would be screaming their anxiety about relegation, yet I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned once in all the posts on the summer window. That is progress.

christ some of these teams were in league two how they have risen compared to us heading back to league one with this lot in charge. This is pathetic, another shambles just like Murray and Short will they ever learn ?
The point is he invested more at the start to get them into the premier league to then make those sales based upon being in the premier league
you can’t look at a sustainable model over a 1 year period, it’s not how business cases work
