But should promotion arise in the future, can you be mid table in the PL with a sustainable model?

Brighton finished 6th, last season.
Brighton have made about 170 - 200 million profit since last season. Where has this 400 million been spent?Brighton's owner has put in over £400 million so nothing sustainable about that.
Brentford are the better model that we're following. Bought cheap and sold for huge fees in the Championship then went up with a strong enough squad that wholesale and expensive changes weren't necessary.
From memory they won at the Etihad last season, with 8 of the starting 11 being bought before promotion. That's what KLD would like to emulate in my opinion
Is it 100% a loan ?Wonder who this striker is then?
Is it definitely a premier league loan?

Which includes new training facilities, a new stadium and paying off bank loans.

God knows...... there isn't so much as a whisper from a credible source. I just hope it's someone that pleases us at worst and excites us at bestWonder who this striker is then?

The voice of reason..good post SandyAll the arguments and discussions on this board are a glaring advert for how much progress the club has made over the last few years. New season with no fit regular striker, playing well but can’t score goals etc. Two or three years ago people would be screaming their anxiety about relegation, yet I don’t think I’ve seen it mentioned once in all the posts on the summer window. That is progress.
No idea. I thought I'd seen somewhere it was was a premier league loan due to sign tomorrow. Although after yesterday's performance all the local journos where shown up to be total incompetent, not that we didn't know that already. Is it 100% a loan ?

The point is he invested more at the start to get them into the premier league to then make those sales based upon being in the premier leaguethats from accounts ending 18 months ago. theyve since made quarter of a billion.
