Honestly some our fans so annoying thinking we cant sign a player if there not linked in the press , and replying to the tweet of the club painting the terrace saying why do that when we need a striker like some people are clueless

There’s players like Alese and Seelt, who nobody had any idea about until the club announced. There’s players like Jobe who are linked in the press for ages. It really does not matter one jot whether it’s “quiet” or not. The truth is that at the moment, nobody has a clue. That may be because there’s nothing to report, or it may be that the club keeping their cards extremely close to their chest. We need players, and people are well within their rights to voice their concerns - I know I do. But all of this “it’s too quiet” chat means nothing fellas.

When was the last time we signed a striker who’s ripped any league up ever? Close to a goal every 2 games for a poor team in your debut season at 19 is impressive. As stated, better than archer and gyokores in their first seasons whilst at an older age and having played more football - and everyone rimmed them last season.

I'm surprised you've never mentioned it before.
The club will be working as hard as they can but deals take two clubs to work together. For the selling clubs the longer they can hold out then the better fee they can get. Some deals will happen earlier to allow others to happen. Just because we don’t have detailed updates coming out the club doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Getting frustrated by things you have no control over is something I’ve learnt not to do over the years. All we can do is sit back and watch the show.
He's exactly the kind of player the supporters want to see coming in, sadly Coventry, Boro, etc, are losing them to PL clubs.
Speakman is having to find players who'd be good for us, in the PL, but haven't yet been tracked by bigger clubs ...
... not as easy as it sounds.
If we bring someone in who's only good enough for this league, and give him a three year contract, it could end up as bad business.

its sad to see when someone puts his/her head above the parapet and has the temerity to express concern our beloved club have not secured striker replacement that we have needed since Jan this year. We are often told by some that this is a forum for discussion and debate yet when that happens a certain section ( i'm assuming former contributors from RTG) dismiss the comments and the poster as negative moaners. Where is the debate there? I have for a long time now restricted my thoughts on here as ......its just not worth it. But for those who feel all is well and we will get it right...by the way, we all hope that is the case. If losing to Ipswich, Crewe (league 2) both at home and Preston ( who I believe will end up at the wrong end of The Championship) is not a topic for a debate about the need to replace what we glaringly need, i'm not sure what the point of this forum is.
