If it was up to me I'd be going

....................patto

Hume.......ballard....batth.........cirkin

...........Neil...........ekwah......jobe

Roberts............hemir................Clarke

3 in midfield, 1 holds when the other 2 go forward, surely they are sensible enough between them to read the game and know when to sit and when to get forward

I can see that but I think Hemir needs Dack or Pritchard to help him out and deliver more to him.

I think that if we are not planning on selling anyone, then this is the way to go.

However, If we are looking to sell one of our assets, I don't want Clarke or Roberts to go this year. We could sell Neil, re-invest part of the money on a CDM in the Evans mould and use the rest of the money towards Aravena or another striker. Out of all of our prize assets, I think Neil is the most dispensable. He is very good at receiving the ball on the half turn and given time can use the ball well, but he lacks pace, often gets caught in possession and his shooting is poor.

I agree with a previous poster, that Aravena looks the perfect replacement for Clarke in a years time, so I'd like to see us get him in this summer.
Out of interest. How much do we think our “assets” are worth. Clarke. Roberts. Neil etc

SUNDERLAND SEND FINAL OFFER FOR RUSYN

@iburbas reports that Sunderland have sent a new offer in between €2-3M euros + 20% sell on clause

Zorya Luhansk owner Yevhen Heller is conducting negotiations for the player personally with Sunderland

@ZoryaLondonsk
Burbas adds that the Championship side sees the Ukrainian as their number one candidate for the forward position.

But they do have 2 back up options if Rusyn deal falls through

What have people seen in Seelt to be a guranteed starter? Not a dig just genuinely curious, admittedly looks good on the clips out there of him but everyone looks good on YouTube

We haven’t spent £2m on him for him to sit on the bench especially when a makeshift CB who’s crap is holding down that position at the minute.

Think of the best 10 teams in world football right now, I’d be very surprised if any of them have a midfielder playing CB never mind one that’s a liability.

Yeah that’s all fair like I say not a dig at those suggesting it just didn’t know if people had seen more of him than the clips on YouTube
