Play a proper cb. Push o9 into cdmEventually maybe but he’s good getting forward think we need a bit of experience mopping up behind these young lads

Said otr, maybe for us to progress as a team we'll have to sell one of our prize assets. Then bring in 2 or 3 quality players for needed positions.2 teams, along with the relegated 3 and probably Boro once they sell Akpom who can outbid us for players
O9 is not good enough has a holding midfielder. He is better when the games played in front of him. His passing is decent but he is not great at receiving the ball on the half turnPlay a proper cb. Push o9 into cdm
Immediately fell throughWhere are these immediate opportunities that Speakman spoke about? 10 days ago......
Yeah I’m starting to accept this too, don’t think it will happen until next summer thoughSaid otr, maybe for us to progress as a team we'll have to sell one of our prize assets. Then bring in 2 or 3 quality players for needed positions.
That’s worth a try he can be a bit rash in midfield thoughPlay a proper cb. Push o9 into cdm

I agree with this tucking Hume in doesn’t really work. Doesn’t contribute much and is out of position when we lose the ball Few times on Saturday Clarke and especially Roberts would have benefited from an overlapping full back Drags the defence out and gives him the option to cut inside or play in the full back. Roberts did really well on Saturday but he often had 3 men on himYou would still need that dcm even if we switched to a back 3 mate. Definitely need to improve our screening In front of the defence. I still think a back four suits us better with Clarke and Roberts beside a number 10 and a CF. It seems fashionable to have your fb tucking inside to make a extra man in cm but I'd rather see them supporting our forward wide players.
You could play Hume as part of a back 3 and have Huggins/Gooch & Cirkin overlapping to give Roberts and Clarke support without disrupting the back lineI agree with this tucking Hume in doesn’t really work. I quite like that. Ballard might struggle though if drawn over to cover the LB area as you need more agility and pace there. Alese or O’Nien for the LCB spot? You could play Hume as part of a back 3 and have Huggins/Gooch & Cirkin overlapping to give Roberts and Clarke support without disrupting the back line

Agree with this your two wide cb need to have pace as teams will try to exploit the space behind the wb. The other disadvantage to this system is not many teams play with two forwards. So you have three cb up against one forward. In this case you'd need one to push into midfield where there would probably be an overload.I quite like that.
