Said otr, maybe for us to progress as a team we'll have to sell one of our prize assets. Then bring in 2 or 3 quality players for needed positions.

O9 is not good enough has a holding midfielder. He is better when the games played in front of him. His passing is decent but he is not great at receiving the ball on the half turn

Yeah I’m starting to accept this too, don’t think it will happen until next summer though

That’s worth a try he can be a bit rash in midfield though

    Attention.

I’m sure a photo of that exact car was posted last summer on RTG and it turned out to be some lad from the town.

I agree with this tucking Hume in doesn’t really work. Doesn’t contribute much and is out of position when we lose the ball Few times on Saturday Clarke and especially Roberts would have benefited from an overlapping full back Drags the defence out and gives him the option to cut inside or play in the full back. Roberts did really well on Saturday but he often had 3 men on him

You could play Hume as part of a back 3 and have Huggins/Gooch & Cirkin overlapping to give Roberts and Clarke support without disrupting the back line

I quite like that. Ballard might struggle though if drawn over to cover the LB area as you need more agility and pace there. Alese or O’Nien for the LCB spot?

Agree with this your two wide cb need to have pace as teams will try to exploit the space behind the wb. The other disadvantage to this system is not many teams play with two forwards. So you have three cb up against one forward. In this case you'd need one to push into midfield where there would probably be an overload.

    Why Hume over Seelt/Triantis?

Understanding we’ll have to sell eventually to
Improve the starting 11 as a whole, just think we’re too short to do it this window. Sell Clarke, then have to find someone capable of replacing him because no one in the squad can do that yet. Then with whatever is left over have to try and find a couple of quality additions in two weeks in other positions, just too big an ask imo. If triantis & seelt make the step up, then next summer would be a chance to cash in on say Ballard and use that money elsewhere as he’s already replaced internally. Not saying that’s what I want, just an example I’d be more comfortable with.
