We started the league 1 promotion season with people losing there **** coz we had Dan Neil and Carl Winchester as full backs. 10 days later we had Cirkin and Huggins (Huggins has missed out massively with his injuries, would've/could be a top player)
We even managed to pull 2 random Germans,that both had been at Bayern Munich, out of nowhere (while still in league 1) Its easy to forgot how big a deal it was at the time eventhough both never really worked out.
Last season we managed to sign Amad, Ba and Michut after the season started. 2 highly rated lads from some of the biggest clubs in the world and another highly rated French under 18 player.
The window still has 2 1/2 weeks left. Let's see what happens. If we manage to add a centre forward to this team I wouldn't be surprised to see us get promoted.

All correct. Also correct we’ve never had enough strikers in the squad since Wyke left.

I don't mean to throw a spanner into the works here but I reckon KS and KLD have to make an important choice, and very soon. TM has less than 12 months left on his contract. I think they either need to enter discussions to extend, or get a new manager sooner rather than later. It's hard to ask players like Clarke and Roberts to commit to new contracts when they don't know who'll be here next year. I think also Amad also stated he would only come back here if TM was still here. Last year players played out of their skin to prove a point that they are good, but if these same players are having doubts that TM will still be here, and they may not be so favoured by a new manager, they may not be so committed

I would recommend all our fans to watch all of last season’s goals to get the feel good factor back.Believe me it works wonders
