Just as we're trying to take good young players from other clubs we have to accept bigger clubs will try to do that with ours ...

... if Clarke goes we have to be grown up and not eat our play-doh in temper.
Absolutely! Any big sales are an opportunity for the team and the club to progress further. We should trust the recruitment team, they've earnt it.

Personally think Roberts is our best player, he’s been plastered all over the socials.

Jacky a close second.

Roberts by far the most skilled out of the two and likely to make a defender look stupid as he beats him with skill and quick footwork. But for me at the minute Clarke is more likely to beat players at speed running into the box to score. Clarke is more of a threat imo and shades it as what he does contributes more to scoring.

Very little between the 2 and it’s nice to see debate who is best instead of who is least **** ain’t it <laugh>

I think Roberts technical ability is off the scale and actually his end product didn’t get what it deserved as he more than Jacky was giving the ball to Amad, this season he will be making the final decision a lot more. Showed at Reading what he’s made of we will see more of this.

Love them both, can see strong arguments for both.

Excuse my paranoia for a second but it’ll do me good to get it off my chest. Do we think the club fully expect Clarke to leave now?

He’s our star player and our best player and normally clubs use their best players for PR and have them plastered all over their social media. Yet Clarke has barely appeared in so much as a photo on ours since before the US trip.

Hopefully/probably it means nothing but it seems a little odd.
You are not alone in that feeling. I too think he will be away but can,t put my finger on it other than how quiet I thought he was in our last game. It would be a shame but if he is to go we need a few teams to be bidding for him and get as much as we can. On the other hand we need to get it done soon so we can invest the proceeds from the sale.

Clarkes final product is way more productive. That has to be Roberts target for improvement.

Nail on head mate!

Clarke is better than Roberts for me mind.

Roberts is technically brilliant and his link up play with Diallo was great to watch but Clarke is a better all rounder.
Agree with you, 9 goals and 12 assists last season made Clarke one of our top performers. I think he sometimes appears frustrating (to me) during a game because he shows for the ball more than most and never hides.

Colin Dagba in talks apparently[/
A product of the Parisian club where he has played since 2016, Colin Dagba (24) tried to get some playing time with Strasbourg last season. However, the right-hander failed to make the grade, making just 21 appearances for the Alsatian club without proving sufficiently convincing. After failing to keep his contract, he returned to Paris Saint-Germain, where his future is uncertain.

With two years to go before the end of his contract, he could bounce back in England. According to our information, discussions are currently underway with Championship side Sunderland. The aim would be to conclude a definitive sale of the native of Béthune and it is in this sense that the various parties are currently working.
