All I can say as a Gills fan is congratulations on getting Bradley Dack. I hope it works out for him and Sunderland, I will certainly be keeping an eye on his progress.

Cairney is still Fulham captain and played 33 prem games last season. I don’t see how we afford either his transfer fee (at his age) or his wage.

Going in to the final year of his contract. Barely started last season, albeit made a lot of appearances off the bench. The lad may just want to play more regularly, it’s the money that would be the stumbling block. Can’t see fee being massive, wages however…

How am I going to get a good kip with this going round in my head...is it or isn't it...hate the transfer window at times.
I could see Fulham wanting Clarke and offering Cairney as part exchange. Would be a plausible enough thought.

See where he fits in? First name on the team sheet. He'd be one of the midfielders in the league. As has been mentioned though, if he were to drop down a league it'd be one of the clubs with parachute payments.
