Was against the Dack signing to start with but coming around to it. He isnt going to be a player to start week in week out, which was my concern when we were 1st linked with him.

We dont need him to play 90 mins every game, what we need is a goal threat from the no10 position- he gives us that

Im fine with him starting occasionally, and being an impact sub the other games

Def means 1 or both of pritchard n embleton will leave now imo

I'm banking on Pritchard. Embo has much more of a goal threat and scope to develop under TM.

Not sold on Dack at all.
Two very bad injuries to come back from and hope he doesn’t block the likes of Rigg/Ba/Bellingham

I see Ba dropping back into the midfield to fight for a place between Ekwah, Neil, Bellingham, Evans and Matete.

All that said Mowbray’s nailed his colours to the mast with him so hoping he’s better around the squad.

So would you say he counts as a striker? More the Pritch role?

I'm all in favour of signings who look like they belong with the Bee Gees
From a few seasons back but seems to get a fair few tap ins inside the 6 yard box. I can see Roberts ans Clarke putting a few on a plate for him.....

I think folk are overlooking the fact Dack had serious potential before he picked up an injury. We’re taking a risk obviously that’s unquestionable but we have the likes of Rigg and Bellingham in the squad who will learn from Dack, it’s not like he’s a plodder who’s done nothing at all in his career he’s just been really unfortunate with a recurring ACL injury - one that killed off a potential £15m move to West Ham.

We needed a 10 and we’ve signed one for nout who was arguably one of the best in the league a few years ago whilst playing for an average team and people still aren’t happy.

Personally I think the club have played a blinder getting him in.

He’s a shadow striker, plays behind the striker in kind of a free role. Loads of runs into the box and a great finisher, really intelligent player always in the right place at the right time.
