Surprised the experienced midfielder that was being mentioned is an attacking one rather than a defensive midfielder, not fussed either way on dack he’s good when fit so happy to see how it plays out but if it’s a toss up between him and pritch id take pritch all day long

His heights fine mate. Its his height/body weight ratio thats the problem. According to stats he should be 8 foot 2.

Hes also barely played in over a year and is very injury prone. I dont see how he improves us and its another hit on the wage bill that id rather see go to somebody else.

Pritchard was apparently injury prone and a load of ****e according to Huddersfield fans, Roberts was arrogant and had a **** attitude, barely played for Troyes etc but they’ve both turned out alright.. Dack was quality for Blackburn until he done his ACL, and I mean arguably better than the likes of Clarke and Roberts last year. It is a risk but if we can get him fit it’ll be worth it in my opinion, another experienced head to have around the young players can’t be a bad thing.

No idea mate, but he was 100% at the AOL on the morning. My boy is in the academy and he gave all the lads a high five as they went out to train.
Not disputing that just what I heard TM say on an interview as to why he missed the afternoon. Hopefully nothing too serious at home for him and his family.
What age group is your son in? My grandson had a spell with the shadow group with his best friend, who got kept on whilst my grandson was released (u10).

I like Pritchard but theres been rumblings for a while about wanting to be further south. He'll be a miss but represented a quality signing on a free. I wonder what sort of fee we'd get with him having a year to go.

They can’t win really can they, we buy kids and the whingers cry for more experience in the squad, we get an experienced player for the squad in dack and the whingers say not this one we wanted another experienced player. Ffs there’s just no pleasing some people. I trust Mowbray, speakman and the rest of them to know what we need, and if they don’t we’ll have a new manager by the end of the season.
He may well do a job but I think the concern is most wanted a fit experienced player. If we aren't paying a fortune though, he could be worth a risk.

re dack, i am not one to have a pop at most we are linked to, prefer them just to show it on the pitch but i just read this on 'wiki' and if anything would give me real doubts it is this:

'The couple had to delay their wedding for a second time in 2022 following Dack's second cruciate knee ligament injury'

thought I’d translated it, reckons vente wont get a work permit to play in England

Dack strikes me more as someone we'd have signed in the past than someone I'd expect us to be looking at now, I didn't think I'd see someone with a gut turning out for us these days.

However if Pritchard is going and Dack's a similar sort of player with more goals in him I can see it makes sense. If Mowbray rates him that's a big plus. Assuming any of it is true.

So I’m going to presume Dack is the one Mowbray alluded to when saying we were getting extra help up front.

still need another centre forward, desperately.
