@JamesCopley_
Silko Thomas, who was on trial with Sunderland (played and scored against King's Lynn), is in "advanced talks" with Leicester City.

Report from the @EveningStandard before people start passing the news off as their own.

What's the other news then?

Clarke away? He seems settled but Burnley just won't go away so must be getting positive feedback from somewhere?!?!

O'Nein hasn't been spotted recently, out of contract next summer and no sign of a new one yet? Could we cash in to a Luton, for example, as this is probably his ceiling?

Same with Pritchard and Baath if they're not getting new deals.

We could be significantly weaker come the Ipswich game than we were against Preston if this is all true, no Amad and losing Clarke or roberts massively weakens us

just as TM says, not looking to sell and no one is asking to go but every player has his price, this is the 'down side' of the model...it is also the big test for the recruitment team as anyone leaving will have to be replaced.

think we all knew there would be a departure or two, cannot keep adding players, with 4 in already and there has to be at least one more (keeper) at the very least.

All conjecture at the minute. Let's see what the line up is v Ipswich, and then again after the window has closed
Yeah I know just seems to have been negative story after negative story for a couple of weeks on the transfer front is all

Doubt we can (or should) match the wage offer of a relegated PL club with parachute money and selling players for 50m.

See ya Rossco. All the best.

If we can't match the wages on offer, then providing we get a reasonable fee for him, then he'll go with my best wishes. I'll always remember him as a vital player in finally getting us out of that ****ty League One and I'm grateful to him for that.

At his age, time isn't on his side and he probably can't wait for us to be in the position to be more competitive wage wise.

I think it will be exciting to see him and (if true) another top rated performer go, just to see what money we are prepared to let them leave for and how well we replace them using our new model.
