That tweet has annoyed me. Surely as a fellow Sunderland fan you wouldn’t put a tweet out and allow the fanbase to go into meltdown. Just release the article and be done with it.

even if he knows something either spill it or shut up until its done - pathetic tweet/x or whatever its called these days

Bad timing posting this after Fishpaste’s tweet, but here’s another striker that looks interesting:

I like the look of Koen Kostens - also from the Dutch 2nd tier. 23 year old striker / attacking mid. Not directly linked to us but just found him while looking for news on Vente.

10 goals and 20 assists in 22/23 :emoticon-0104-surpr

Out of contract next summer.

He isn’t a fellow fan that’s the issue. Not a proper one. He’s always been a condescending arse who is keen to just further his pretendy journalist career - that comes before everything

If it's Stewart I'm not too arsed. If it's Clarke I'll more more pissed off

Could just as easily be backing up the news about O9 or Matete's injury. Agree with posters on here. Clickbait attention seeker alert!

Edit: Just read about Stewart. We move on. I would still be looking for a reasonable fee for him though, or we may as well keep him.

Not come as a shock. We can’t match wages. If he wanted to sign he would have done so by now.

The whole Wrexham thing is becoming a bit of a daft parody ...

... I'd guess the public are already bored with the 'fairytale'.

I think people here are starting to get bored of it, but the media is a bit behind as usual. The thing is what they've done so far is great, but relatively easy if you have the right backing. Look at Salford City, Fleetwood. It's the next steps that's going to be harder. It's highly possible that they begin to flat line either in league 2 or league 1 if they get there. You only have to look at the clubs in league 1 to see how hard it would be, and FFP won't let them blow everyone away financially.
