Re Clarke, more concerned that Palace or West Ham come in for him now.
They will make actual non-joke bids.
They will make actual non-joke bids.
Would have to meet the loft valuations set by the club though.
If Clarke is to be offered a new contract then I am sure his agent is trying every trick in the book to get his client the best deal and as we have seen before using another clubs interest is a tried and tested formulaReally hope we don't lose all 3 players, especially Clarke and Ballard. If we are serious about promotion then surely we need to hold on to them for another season.
And that's the key part - we aren't going to be over a barrell to PL clubs just because they come calling. As I just stated, if a club wants to pay £25m then absolutely let him go.
Burnley can **** off with their £10m bids
Stadium size and size of fanbase mean absolutely nothing in football.
I hope you are right.2+2=5
Story 1 - He's aware of Kompany's interest
Story 2- Jack Clarke wants to play in the PL
Keef is being deliberately ambiguous by not stating Clarke wants to join Burnley, or "play in the PL this season"
Everyone jumping on at being negative as usual. Clarke has stated he's happy here. Various sources say a new contract is in the offing and as other have rightly stated - we could quite feasibly swap places with Burnley in May
Now, if Brighton or Spurs came in with £25m bid then it's another story IMHO
I hope the club factor in any sell-on clause too - so if Spuds get 25% of any fee, we make sure that's added on to whatever Burnley/Wet Sham etc payIf it gets to 15m I think that will be the trigger though. Let's see .
Because it's come from their chief cheerleader DownieSo many ****ing saudis commenting on the story, They can't enjoy their own club's relative success, they HAVE to latch on to any story about us and mention "small club" "Sunderland is a dump" "chessy chips"
New CK Fragrance - Obsession for Mags
Does this effect the new contract that seemed to be in the pipeline???If it gets to 15m I think that will be the trigger though. Let's see .
I don't necessarily think Downie is a Saudi-lover, he's an Edinburgh boy and is a massive Hearts fan.Because it's come from their chief cheerleader Downie
A sensible voice among all the noise and I totally agree with you, as the club through KS have stated we are not a selling club and do not need to sell as we are trying to build something but if players want to leave or it benefits the club then the recruitment/management team will assess each case on its merits. people need to stay calm (don't panic Mr. Manwairing) and trust the club as they have not made many big mistakes so far and have earned a bit of trust from the fan base.At this moment in time, they are both very likely to stay.
We have to accept that there will be interest in these plays. Sign that the model is working!!!
If significant offers are made, then equally they will be considered as reinvested. Would have to meet the loft valuations set by the club though.
Zaha has signed for Galatasaray now.
Good signing for them that. Im suprised no other clubs i.e Burnley never came in for him.

I DO however, think he hates us - probably due to all the twitter abuse we've given him over the years![]()
Big bid for Clarke. (Will get rejected). If a bid comes in around £15 / £18 million i believe he will go.
Expect West Ham now to move for Ballard. He will go if money is right.
Stewart i beleive will move before the end of the window.
Also, i expect to lose another 2/3 players before the end of the window.
We are chasing several players..no sigmificant movement yet.
I don't think the model is to sell on it is to build sensibly and recruit the right people. It's not about profit it is about a sustainable model which needs to be built and working before bigger investment comes in. Think Everton and their heavy spending with poor results or Man Utd and their poor investments in the wrong players, but Man City with heavy investment but with a good business model is now a debt free club working on a sustainably. Weather you agree or not Man City are debt free and self financing whilst Man u are at this moment heavily in debt in a rundown stadium not able to buy players they need because the correct working model was not put in place at the right time.I hope you are right.
I am not being negative deliberately. Just commenting on how I see it. I think we all know the model is to sell on. A poster was saying earlier we have a fee in mind when we will do business. I am sure we have for all our players. Whether we can achieve it is another thing of course.
If that is 100% accurate I see him moving on. If Jack fancies it then at some point the deal gets done in my opinion.
Palace were offering him 200k a week to stay, teams like Burnley wouldn't get close to paying that sort of moneyGood signing for them that. Im suprised no other clubs i.e Burnley never came in for him.
