We are in a position now where players, agents and clubs want to do business with us. We are the attractive club for players wanting to progress or prove a point. Mowbrays reputation in the game was excellent before he came here and will always attract players. He is at a club now who are showing how players can excel in the right environment. It wont be a case of persuading any player to come here anymore, it will be more a case of having a queue that is too big.
I wonder if he was meant to sign last weekend, and now his agent has leaked this to the press out of frustration to try and get the French club to cave
They (Burnley) had held interest in Championship attacking duo Jack Clark (Sunderland) and Zian Flemming (Millwall) but valuation differences made those deals unlikely. He’s only played about 300mins altogether in fairness and only turned 18 2 months ago, I’d expect him to be slowly integrated like jewi and ba (if he signs)
The fee might actually have been even higher were it not for Sochaux's financial situation. Apparently we have a strong scouting network over there as well, so the lad must be a talent.
