Too slight to play CB permanently IMO. Great full back don’t see why we’d change it. Having Huggins is a bonus because he’s comfortable on either side.
Some of the best centre backs I have watched are smaller than Hume. Cannavaro, Baresi, Puyol. All moved in from full back too. Thiago Silva isnt a big lad either. Hume looks like he is aggressive enough, but more importantly composed enough to play in there. He is good with the ball at his feet at as well and the best partnerships have always had a ball playing centre back. Happy enough with him at full back, just wouldnt be surprised if in a year or two he is a centre back.

I still think he could be the ‘evans replacement’ we are all looking for in a year or two

Hes not to slight for CB, you don't have to be big to be a good CB. Although I do agree he's a great right back. He slotted in with ease at CB last season

Right.. the whole thing about losing because our taller CBs were injured..?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I agree you don’t HAVE to be big to be a centre back but you have to be very good to be playing there when you’re 5’10. There’s a reason most of them are massive.

A lot of great CBs haven't been massive, losing wasn't just because our taller CBs were injured it was the general lack of height across the whole team. Hume will make a great CB or RB he is a very good player

He's training with the U21s so presume we're looking at him for that. He's on their mini tour.
Was trying to work out if he plays deep and breaks forward or is another AM. A bit of both on the clips. Against kids but he looks to be strong and have a driving run.

It seems like Liverpool have agreed a £12million fee for Jordan Henderson to go to Saudi, which means that the 0.1% chance of him 'coming home' will be gone.
If he does go there, purely for the money (obviously), I don't ever want him to come back to S.A.F.C. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Same here, sad times we have allowed them into our game. Sportswashing murdering bastards (SMB).
