Agreed, thats why i think he has a big impact as a sub. If we are winning hes great for coming on and drawing fouls or keeping a hold of it. If we are behind he can link play and create chances.
Im def not against keeping him as hes what i call a proper footballer just dont think hes a week in week out starter anymore
Still a cracking squad player, who could start 1 in 3/4 games then be used off the bench in the other games
I have a feeling that jobe could have a huge impact this season
Agree, he just doesnt have the legs to get about the pitch over 90 minutes. He needs to be more intelligent with his pressing at times, hes so eager to press all the time but sometimes its pointless runningStill only just turned 30 though....he's not "old" by conventional standards....given he's playing in the second tier.
Agree, I reckon Ballard and especially Batth would have made the difference, especially in the match at the SOL.This seems to be missed by some, we already had defenders that would have prevented Luton from bullying us at corners. Unfortunately they were injured. Way some go on you would think that backing against Luton was what we had all season!

Be interesting to see if we do keep him or not, hes the most likely to go but think most of us are happy if he was still here the end of the transfer window
Sounds like an 80s cop show, there mateBatth captain, O9 vice would be my choice

He had a tendency to position himself at the near post and people where I sit as well as myself often said he was one of our best defenders making so many clearances from corners and free kicks - he was missed badly v Luton.Agree, I reckon Ballard and especially Batth would have made the difference, especially in the match at the SOL.
When you listen to Mowbray talking about balls into our box, he talks about how important first contact is. Thinking back, it’s amazing how often that first contact, when we were defending free kicks and corners, was Ross Stewart.
We missed his goals, movement, hold up play and physicality but I forgot how much we also missed his defending.
That's what I remember, he never seemed to pick a man up he just marked the front post area and had a great view of the flight of the ball so he could react to it.He had a tendency to position himself at the near post and people where I sit as well as myself often said he was one of our best defenders making so many clearances from corners and free kicks - he was missed badly v Luton.
