They could have plenty money to spend if ward-prowse and lavia get sold
that is the worry if Man Utd let him out on loan again they could afford to pay lot more than us

Man Utd don't need the money, what they need is Amad to be happy and progressing. It has been proven he gets that with SAFC, Southampton is an unknown could be another loan for him like last year or like his time at Rangers.

My concern was more if they sell him permanently, southampton would be able to pay more than we could

Folk pressuming we couldnt afford to sign him just because we havent matched an 8 million fee
We had the 2nd highest net spend last season and i think we are in the top 3 net spends so far this summer as well
They might want to sell him. I’d expect we’d be front of the line for a loan but completely out of the picture otherwise.
