Remember the Kone thing. Was daft. Should have went got the big money. He was promised he would be allowed to go if it come and we went back on it at the time.

That was the end of that.

We saying we should think the same with Clarke? We haven't been offered big money for him yet like! 10 million is a joke.

Clarke shows the model works. If he goes, let's say 15m, it probably covers the vast majority of player investment made since KLD took over. Only need to sell 1 or 2 a season and hopefully start turning regular profit.

Dutch lads interview was interesting. Sold as a 2-3 year project to reach prem.
Clarke going for £15 million will be more like £12 million once spurs have had their sell on percentage. Assuming that's 20%.

Yes it probably covers most of the expenditure, but what's the cost to replace his assists and goals.

The model is great if we sell someone and either have their replacement all ready here or the sale funds better players in a couple of positions, it doesn't really work if we sell Clarke and then still need to spend £5 million on his replacement

I wish burnley and anyone else would just p**** off with any bids and leave a settled player (Clarke) alone.:emoticon-0120-doh:
I’ve said it before but i really want us to keep him.

It's usually % of profit rather than transfer fee received.

I think the fact Leyton Orient are linked with our #2Keeper Bass says it all really and proves what ive thought all along. We need a better number 2 because for all we know Patterson could have a season like Stewart did last year.

A good Keeper can save you around 20 points a season and bad Keeper can cost you 20 points a season

Don't we know it from the 2017-18 season?!?

There is a bit of Evans about Bogarde. Very comfortable on the ball and reads the game well. The lad has more about him going forward though.

Very calm and assured and looks very poised wherever they give him the ball.
In the absence of a Henderson (who would be ideal) he would be very decent option.
